Brand Identity & Guidelines
01
Part One
How the identity was arrived at: the engagement, the position it had to hold, and the marks that were explored before the wordmark was adopted alone.
Case Study
Atlas Property Advisors is an American brokerage representing buyers and sellers of luxury residential property. The firm came to the engagement with a name it was confident in and no visual system behind it.
The brief asked for an identity that would sit comfortably beside private banking and private equity rather than residential real estate and that would hold up across a small, high-touch set of surfaces: folios, cards, signage, and a client app.
Case Study
Atlas works where discretion matters more than reach.
Buyers and sellers of property above $3M. Most arrive through referral or repeat business rather than search.
The identity appears in private meetings, printed folios and building signage far more often than in advertising.
Private banking, private equity and luxury retail. Explicitly not the visual language of residential brokerage.
Case Study
Three monogram directions were drawn, each fusing the initials A, P and A into one structural symbol.
Every monogram read as a symbol before it read as a name. The client chose to drop it: the wordmark carries the brand on its own, and the crimson rule became the only mark the system needs.

Part Two
The reference section construction, lockups, color, typography, spacing and the rules that keep the wordmark consistent wherever it is applied.

X equals the cap height of the A. Keep at least X of clear space on all four sides no type, rule, image edge or container border may enter it.
Below these sizes the subline loses legibility. Use the inline lockup, or ATLAS on its own, instead of shrinking further.
Brand Manual
Never stretch, condense or otherwise distort the wordmark.
The rule is crimson, navy or cream. No gold, no third color.
Do not add a symbol, seal or monogram. The wordmark stands alone.
Do not tighten the tracking on either line of the lockup.
No outlines, strokes, embossing, shadows or gradients.
Do not place the wordmark over busy imagery. Use a solid ground.
